Doctor Elizabeth Arthur, MD

Dr. Elizabeth Arthur is a native of Scottsville, NY. She attended St. Pius Tenth in Chili and St. Agnes High School. She graduated from Villanova University with Honors in Biology. For medical school she attended Hahnemann University Medical School where she graduated with many honors. Upon completing medical school, Dr. Arthur initially began her residency in Internal Medicine, however decided to change to Dermatology. After completing her residency, she returned to Rochester to be closer to her family.

Dr. Arthur is Board Certified in Dermatology and is on the faculty at Highland Hospital teaching medical students and residents. She has conducted multiple clinical trials on acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, hair loss, glycolic acid, and BOTOX.  

In April 2004, Dr. Arthur founded Helendale Dermatology and Medical Spa, located in the old Laurelton School on Helendale Road. Dr. Arthur has maintained the style of the building, but has incorporated many antiques and works of art into the décor creating a warm and home-like atmosphere of her office.  She is especially proud of the team that has been formed at Helendale Dermatology to serve the patients. 

Dr. Arthur supports many causes in our community and has been active in the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children/NY (NCMEC). She served on the Board of Directors from 2012 to 2014.  

Dr. Arthur lives in Scottsville with her husband Michael and two children Abigail and Evan.
